Employment Readiness Program

The 12-week Employment Readiness Program is designed to equip women with the essential skills for both personal and professional success. CWJC Tyler is currently accepting applications for the spring semester , beginning February 9, 2026.

Open to women 18 years and older with a high school diploma or GED, this program offers an opportunity to develop critical skills for long-term career success. The focus is on preparing participants for life and employment, creating a foundation for both personal growth and professional achievement.

Program Highlights:

The all-inclusive curriculum provides training in:

• Bible Study – Building a strong foundation in faith and biblical knowledge

• Computer Skills – Learning digital skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Career Readiness – Resume writing, interview preparation, job search strategies, and essential workplace skills

• Communication & Financial Management – Building effective communication skills and managing finances for a stable future

Participants will also benefit from mentorship and one-on-one employment coaching providing continuous guidance and support throughout the program.

Flexible Class Schedules:

The following class options are available:

Daytime Classes:  Mondays & Wednesdays: 9:00– 2:45 or Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:00 – 2:45

Evening Classes:  Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Enrollment Information:

The only cost is a $34 registration fee. All other services, including classes, materials, and meals, are provided at no charge.
