Employment Readiness Program

The 12-week Employment Readiness Program is offered twice per year during spring and fall semesters.  Our fall semester is well underway and we are currently enrolling for the spring semester which starts February 5, 2024.

It is available to women who are at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, and a desire to develop skills for employment. The purpose is to equip women for life and employment.

The all-inclusive curriculum includes training in the following areas:

• Bible Study
• Computer Navigation
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Jobs for Life
• Boundaries
• Resume Writing
• Interview Preparation
• Communication
• Financial Management

In our Christ-centered environment, participants receive mentoring, one-on-one employment coaching and guidance from local business leaders and HR representatives.

Daytime and evening classes are offered so that students may choose the schedule that best fits their availability. Participants may select one of following schedules:

Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00-2:45
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00-2:45
Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-8:00pm

The only cost is a registration fee of $34.  All coursework, class materials and even meals are provided for FREE to our students!
