CWJC’s computer lab expansion is now complete! Through a generous grant from the Women’s Fund of Smith County, we’ve expanded capability in our computer lab – creating a modern, effective learning environment. 

With the completion of this project, we are increasing student capacity and adding programs that will help women gain professional certificates and even pursue careers in IT. Improved technology creates the ability to expand services and to teach technical skills needed for today’s workforce and be better equipped as the world of technology changes rapidly. With upgraded equipment and networking, efficiency and security are improved. Not only were twenty-five new all-in-one desktop computers installed, the instructor’s lesson is now displayed on a brand new 75” TV! This allows students to be able to better see and participate during classes.

This tremendous blessing will enable CWJC to provide relevant digital skills training now and into the future.
